Fulton man dead in three-car crash

A three-car crash in Lee County killed one man and sent several others to the hospital.

Clemmie Pounds, 77, of the Fulton area, died in the accident near County Road 814 (Richmond Road) and County Road 1467.

The accident happened at about 7 p.m. Saturday.

Four others involved in the crash were transported to North Mississippi Medical Center.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the crash.
