Davis, 86, and his twin brother, Buster of Fulton, were born in Tishomingo County and both ran successful automobile dealerships. They also are among ICC's most faithful supporters, emotionally and financially.
The Davis Event Center on the Fulton campus is named for them.
Visitation will be Monday 5-7 p.m. at the Davis Event Center, then Tuesday 4-6 p.m. at White Station Church of Christ on Park Avenue in Memphis.
His funeral service will begin at 6 p.m. at the church with Memphis Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
A private interment ceremony will be Wednesday morning.
The Davis brothers are U.S. Army veterans of World War II and enlisted the same day.
Bud Davis coached the two undefeated ICC teams in 1960-61 and 1961-62.
He owned and operated Bud Davis Cadillac for more than two decades in Memphis.
