BMC women eliminated from TSAC tournament

PULASKI, Tenn. – Martin Methodist blew open a tight game in the second half Friday night and knocked Blue Mountain College out of the TranSouth Athletic Conference Championship with an 80-62 win.

After leading 35-31 at intermission, the Lady Red Hawks (16-15) outscored the Lady Toppers 14-3 to open the second half.

Anna Brooke Page (Belmont) scored 21 points to lead Blue Mountain,

which finished the season 17-12. She his 10 of 15 from the floor. Jessi Hayles (Pontotoc) was held to five points on 2 of 13 shooting in her final game for the Lady Toppers.
