Annie Jones, 38, of New Albany, was traveling west on Highway 78 when Highway Patrol Trooper Ray Hall said she appears to have run off the right side of the road, overcorrected and turned several times.
Jones was ejected from a 2001 Ford Expedition and died on the scene from injuries sustained in the crash.
Hall said troopers responded to the scene at about 5 a.m.
The crash happened near mile marker 68 in Union County.
