The Vancouver Sun reported that Jackson, 35, will sign a one-day player contract with the Lions, returning where he spent seven seasons as a backup QB and sometime starter.
Jackson spent last season with the CFL champion Toronto Argonauts.
“I’ve come full circle, and I’m back with the Lions again,” Jackson told
the Sun. “I still had the itch to play. But I’m giving up possibly a couple of years more of playing to get into coaching. I think I can help the young guys with my wisdom and experience.”
He’ll be introduced in Vancouver on Friday.
