BOONEVILLE – A 28-year-old man was arrested after allegedly failing to stop until the end of a 50-minute chase involving several law enforcement agencies last weekend.

Timothy Wayne Tucker of Booneville faces charges of speeding, failure to stop at red light, failure to stop at stop sign, DUI, reckless driving and felony fleeing, according to Baldwyn Assistant Police Chief Greg Boxx.

Tucker’s felony bond was set Monday at $2,500 and his bond on misdemeanor charges was $2,500. He was in the Lee County jail as of 2:30 p.m.

Boxx said the chase started about 5 p.m. Saturday in Baldwyn and ended in Tippah County, where Tucker’s vehicle allegedly hit a Tippah County deputies car after the tires in his vehicle were shot out. Tucker then exited the vehicle and was arrested in the woods.

No one was injured in the chase.
