Rock, 35, had been scheduled to go on trial March 4.
He was accused, in 2008 while he was an Ecru policeman, of depriving two motorists of their civil rights by allegedly demanding money in exchange for destroying a traffic ticket against each.
The indictment said such action deprives a person of his or her constitutional rights for protection against unreasonable searches and seizures.
He faces up to a year in prison on each charge.
Wednesday, it was not public information to what charge he would plead guilty.
Rock reportedly became a preacher after he left the Ecru Police Department.
