• The Tupelo High School boys finished third and the Tupelo girls fourth

in the Gulf Coast Stampede in Escambia, Fla., Saturday.

Andrew White of Tupelo finished ninth overall in 16:44 over a 5K course; and Christian Daniels also finished ninth in 19:49 over a 5K course.

• Itawamba Community College soccer coach Mike Sullivan picked up career win No. 200 when the Indians (3-3-3, 1-1-2 MACJC) defeated Meridian Community College 3-2 on Friday.
