BILOXI — One person is dead and another wounded after a shooting at Keesler Air Force Base's off site family campground.

Keesler officials tell The Sun Herald an Army veteran, who was going through a divorce, was staying at the park when a domestic disturbance broke out at about 8:15 a.m. Sunday. He was wounded and another person was killed in the shooting. Base officials haven't released the names of the two victims.

Officials say it appears the veteran's spouse showed up and a short time later the shooting occurred.

The case remains under investigation.
