Shannon Police are investigating what appears to have been an attempted robbery at a local business this afternoon, according to Shannon Police Chief Desiree Kershner.

The business owner at Battery World in Shannon on Romie Hill Ave. reported to police he saw two males approaching his store from the back of the property on video carrying what he believed to look like shotguns at about 12:16 Wednesday. The owner went out and yelled at the two to leave and they fled.

Nothing was taken and no one was injured.

The business video is being looked at and the Shannon Police are investigating the incident, Kershner said.
