Tennessee man killed in Booneville crash

BOONEVILLE – At least one person was killed Wednesday night in a crash at the intersection of Highway 145 at Highway 45 in Booneville.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol, the crash happened about 7:15 p.m.

MHP’s Trooper Ray Hall said Dock Davis Jr., 61, of Grand Junction, Tenn., was killed in the crash. He was apparently driving north on Hwy. 145 in a Chevrolet Suburban when he collided into an embankment after crossing Hwy. 45.

Hall said Davis was not wearing a seat belt and died on the scene.

There were three passengers in Davis' vehicle:

Travis Stanley, 29, of Booneville, was transported to NMMC with moderate injuries. He was wearing a seat belt.

Timothy Morrow, 26, and Jacklyn Morrow, 30, both of Moscow, Tenn., were both airlifted. Timothy Morrow was transported by air to NMMC with serious injuries, Jacklyn Morrow was transported by air to the MED in Memphis with serious injuries. Neither one was wearing a seat belt.
