Early morning Tupelo accident leads to DUI charges

Tupelo Police charged a man with driving under the influence after they say he ran under the back end of an 18-wheeler early Wednesday morning.

The accident took place at 3 a.m. on McCullough Boulevard. No one was seriously injured and the man driving the vehicle is facing DUI charges and is currently in the hospital.

No other information has been released at this time by Tupelo Police.
