Update: William Trimble, 27, of Tupelo, had his bond set at $500,000 in the Lee County Justice Court Wednesday morning.

TUPELO - A Tupelo man was charged with felony domestic violence, arson and burglary of a dwelling Monday.

William Trimble, 27, of Tupelo, was taken into custody after allegedly breaking into a woman's home, assaulting her and setting some of her personal items and car on fire

The woman was treated at the North Mississippi Medical Center and released.

Trimble is in the Lee County Adult Jail awaiting arraignment.
