A Tupelo man was arrested on charges of child porn possession, following an investigation by the Lee County Sheriff’s Department, Federal Marshals and the Tupelo Police Department.

Larry McClendon, 64, of 2677 Turnberry Dr., Tupelo, was arrested Friday and charged. His bond was set at $250,000 on Monday.

The evidence recovered in a search warrant appears to be commercially purchased materials, so it does not appear any local children were harmed, said Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson.
