White, 27, was indicted last October but information was not made public until this week.
He waived his arraignment today in Oxford before U.S. Magistrate S. Allan Alexander and entered a not-guilty plea.
His trial is set for Jan. 22 before Chief District Judge Michael P. Mills.
If convicted, White could be sentenced up to 20 years in prison and a$1 million fine or both, although if he has a prior felony drug conviction, possible jeopardy increases up to 30 years in prison and a $2 million fine.
He is accused of the illegal distribution in Lee County on Sept. 13, 2011.
