Sheriff Glenn Whitlock tells WTVA TV 52-year-old Carol Johnson and 32-year-old Dana Johnson, both of Iuka, were taken into custody Friday and charged with conspiracy to distribute Dilaudid.
The sheriff says the drug is a highly addictive pain medication only prescribed to patients in moderate to severe chronic pain.
Whitlock says more charges are pending against the women.
Authorities also arrested 41-year-old Robert Whitlock, of Golden, for sale of Hydrocodone.
The sheriff says the arrests were the result of undercover operations.
