The SEC’s baseball coaches have cast their ballots, and Arkansas is the winner.

Coaches predicted the order of finish for the coming season, which begins this weekend, and the Razorbacks got nine of a possible 14 first-place votes for overall champ.

But the SEC is one of the toughest, deepest leagues in the land, and the teams picked behind Arkansas should give them a run.

Vanderbilt was picked to win the East and received three votes for the overall title. Last year’s regular season champ, LSU, got one first-place vote, as did Kentucky.

Arkansas hasn’t won an SEC title since 2004.

LSU was picked to finish second in the West, followed by Mississippi State and Ole Miss. LSU and

MSU each received one first-place vote, while Arkansas got the other 12.
