No. 13 Mississippi State will play away from Dudy Noble Field for the first time this season when it faces Southern Miss at Trustmark Park in Pearl tonight. First pitch is set for 6:30.

The Bulldogs (17-2) will start senior left-hander Luis Pollorena (3-0, 1.88 ERA) on the mound. He has a strong record in Pearl and against USM (7-8). In two appearances versus the Golden Eagles – both in 2011 – Pollorena tossed a total of 11 2/3 scoreless innings with nine strikeouts and three walks.

In two Pearl appearances, including last year versus Ole Miss, he has allowed one run in 11 innings of work.

Southern Miss will start sophomore lefty Mason Robbins (1-1, 3.08).
